What Do Women Look for in Their Future Partner or Husband?

Hunting women – a mysterious species to men. No obvious logic behind the choice of their prey and no recognizable reasons for the results of their hunt, considered as successful by the women themselves for equally incomprehensible reasons. And it is no wonder that men are getting slightly confused here. In the stone edge, women chose men who are strong, able to make fire, bring food home, keep the woman safe and make her lots of babies. Later on in human history, women picked mainly handsome guys they can adore and admire, real gentlemen with good manners and witty talks. In times of war, it was important that the men set the rules and bring home some money. In the 1960s, men need to be rebels and rockers to pull some girls, with long hair and – even better – with nothing more than a guitar in their hands. In the 1970s, every girl wanted to be independent and guys who are great in bed. Later on, in the 1980s and 90s the urban cowboy became fashionable, a free spirited scalawag who broke the women’s hearts, but apparently that was sexy. Since the start of the 20th century men have to be all in one, so it seems: not boring, a good listener, a great lover, an amazing father and a high earner. Damn, it seems hard to fit into the pattern. 

But men, no worries, no need to panic or lose hope right now. It is a fact that from a biological point of view, women tend to search for men who provide a good heritage for their offspring, but guys, you are built to provide that, so there is no reason to despair. As this happens subconsciously, there is plenty more criteria women tick off their list when looking for a partner. What man they are looking for depends primarily on their experiences in their past. In the course of their life and from their parents and friends they learned what they want and do not want in a man. Most of the women opt for men who come from a similar background with a similar educational level and a more or less similar income and they look for characteristics that correspond to their own such as humor, intelligence, social and emotional abilities, hobbies, dreams, imaginations about the future, favorite animals, favorite vacation destinations and so on. They also take a close look at the men’s family and friends because they learned that these are great indicators of what kind of person he is. So careful guys, when introducing your new girlfriend make your buddies look nice and make your mother stop talking about you peeing in bed when you were little. 

All in all one can say that like attracts like and the chemicals simply must be right. The rest will develop and turn out as it is supposed to. So relax and be yourself!
